Will you be the Loughton Festival photographer of the year?
This year we are asking people to submit a photo (or two) of Epping Forest.
How to enter:
There will be two classes: one for adults and one for children.
Photographs should either be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org or left at the Space, Loughton Library. If already printed, we can only accept A4, framing is welcomed but not essential.
The deadline is 1 May and there will be two walks in Epping Forest where you can take photos and learn from John Price, a professional photographer. For more information about the one in early April please contact John directly. The second walk is included in our programme. The walks cost £5, which will go towards the costs of our printing and framing photos for the exhibition
Free to enter, the best photos will be printed, framed and displayed in Loughton Library from 22 May where they will be offered for sale.
The proceeds will be donated to our charities.
Selected photos will be downloaded and displayed in Loughton Library from the middle of May, and the winners will be announced at the HOWZAT event being held at Loughton Cricket Club on 28 May around 3pm. If you enter we hope you will also attend this event and the prize winning session.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:
Children are welcome to enter the competition, but please make sure that you let us know the entrant is under 16 at the time of entering.
Please note that by entering you give the Loughton Festival team permission to download your photo, print it and display it in Loughton Library.
Photos displayed at Loughton Library will be offered for sale and any photos sold will raise funds for our two charities: the Loughton Youth Project and the Essex Air Ambulance.
